Slime Care 101

๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’– SPLATCAT SLIME CARE ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿพ

A little love goes a long way! Your handmade slime can change over time, especially in warm weather. Follow these tips to keep it ready for squishing, stretching, and all the fun!

๐Ÿซง Clean paws first!

Wash and dry your hands before and after playing. Keep food, crumbs, and dirt out of your slime to help it stay fresh.

โ˜๏ธ Give it the one-finger test!

Touch your slime with one clean, dry finger. If it sticks, it needs a little activator love!

๐Ÿ’ฆ Sticky situation?

Add a small spritz of slime activator, knead, and check again. Go slowlyโ€”too much can make your slime stiff!

โ˜€๏ธ Keep your slime cool!

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Hot cars and slime donโ€™t mix!

๐Ÿงด Too stiff to stretch?

Stretch slowly and gently! A tiny bit of lotion may help soften opaque slime; clear slime may benefit from a drop of glycerin. Add a little at a time, since different textures need different care.

๐Ÿซ™ Tuck it in!

Put your slime back in its airtight container when playtime is over. Keep the lid tightly closed so it doesnโ€™t dry out.

๐Ÿงผ Oops! Slime escape?

Keep slime away from fabric, rugs, hair, and pets. For washable fabric, ask a grown-up to help remove excess slime, then gently work in white vinegar and water before washing. Test a hidden spot first, and follow the itemโ€™s care instructions.

๐Ÿ’– Check on your slime!

Even when youโ€™re taking a play break, check it occasionally and add a little activator if needed. Caring for your slime is a fun way to practice responsibility!

๐Ÿšซ For squishing, not snacking!

Slime, charms, and sprinkles are not edible. Keep away from little mouths and curious pets.
